Caliper pins were easily removed with a 1/2", 6 point, deep well socket and Craftsman 3/8 in. Drive Flex Head Quick Release Teardrop Ratchet, Sears Item# 00944815000 | Model# 44815 (my favorite wrench!). However, things came to a screeching halt when it was time to remove the 18mm caliper bracket bolts. They were frozen in pretty tight! A propane torch and 16oz dead blow hammer helped loosen them.

This is the incentive I needed to break out the anti-seize compound to prevent similar struggles in the future. I'd already planned on using the brake lube on the slide pins.
